Shauna M. Hill was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She came to Atlanta in 1997 to attend Clark Atlanta University. After graduating magna cum laude in 2001, Shauna went on to obtain her juris doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2004.

 

Shauna’s unparalleled capacity for compassion led her to pursue a legal career advocating for the most marginalized populations in society. Shauna began as an Assistant Public Defender in Coweta County and would eventually land in the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office.

With over 14 years of experience litigating cases throughout Georgia, Shauna has provided zealous representation to a multitude of clients, including those accused of the most serious felony offenses, to those cited for minor traffic violations.  She also has extensive experience representing juvenile clients in delinquency matters and both parents and children in dependency matters.

 

Prior to starting her own firm, Shauna served as a Child Attorney in Fulton County representing abused and neglected children.  Shauna’s keen knowledge of child welfare law coupled with her criminal law expertise makes her uniquely qualified to aggressively advocate for juveniles involved in delinquency proceedings and parents who are facing the threat of their children being placed in foster care.
